Hi,

Firstly I would like to thank all staff on ward B18 and Blackpool Victoria for their care and attention during my stay.

I was admitted on Tuesday 23 March with chest pains. Firtsly the ambulance crew where, from what I remember because of my state at the time, absolutly brilliant, speedy, professional and reasuring.

The staff in the assesment unit and the monitoring unit again, where proffesional and attentive, and friendly. They sort of kept you upbeat, if you know what I mean, which is a great help when you're going through a worrying time like I did.

Everyone from the consultants to the cleaners where briliant, all friendly.

The catering staff where great and the food was fine, contrary to some comments I heard, but you can please some of the people and all that.

Considering the ammount of patients to feed, and not being a five star hotel all was fine.

I did have a minor heart attack and I don't think icould have been treat much faster if I had have been a private patient. From being admitted Tuesday, diagnosed, at Blackpool on the friday for a stent fit, and home on the Sunday. That being my first stay in hospital I will never call the NHS and especially the staff at RBI.
