"Care Today @ DGH"

About: Royal Eye Infirmary

Today I visited the emergency eye care department at Derriford Hospital with my son who had developed a swollen ,painful eye.We had spoken to the department and invited to come straight in.

We were met at the reception area by the Nurse Practitioner who made us feel very welcome and taken to a clean and comfortable room where the Nurse took a history ,put drops in my sons eye and was extremely easy to talk to and very kind. My son was then taken to an examination room , diagnosed and treated .We left the department with a follow up appointment which was arranged by an equally efficient and kind receptionist. This was 5 + star treatment ,thank you to all concerned ,especially the Nurse Practitioner.
