About: St John's Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I've been seeing gynae for nearly a year and ive had mixed experiences with consultants. Some consultants are very understanding but some I feel just fob you off and dismiss concerns as normal. I am not the one to criticise here but the one thing that would really help is if consultants fully listened to women's concerns and take everything on board before discussing treatments.

Apart from that, when entering the outpatients department the receptionists are always cheery and support staff are lovely. Well Done NHS! X

Thank you for your feedback following your experiences with the Gynaecology Dept at St John's Hospital. I am sorry that some of the consultants have not listened to your concerns in a way that has allowed you to take everything on board before discussing the best treatments for you. I was really pleased to hear how the rest of the staff are bright and cheery when you have attended your appointments.
