I tore my left hand open on a trackbarrow, from palm through between thumb and forefinger and over the back of the hand. Eventually NHS24 recognised the availability of locum cover in Gairloch and I got an appointment at the local health centre. Dr Mahmoud took 1. 5 hours to put in 13 stitches in a very difficult area. Superb job! The stitches came out last Thursday. All very well. I would like him to be made aware of this message and my gratitude.
