I was brought to A&E by ambulance early one morning in July suffering from chest pain and previous shortness of breath.
I was seen within minutes by nursing and medical staff who could not have been more efficient, kinder or more reassuring..
When cardiac problems were ruled out I was quickly X rayed and found to have a pneumothorax.
This was treated and I was then admitted to EAU.
There I was given every consideration by medical and nursing staff .
During the three days I was on the ward I was well looked after and mostly kept informed about my condition.
The consultant, doctor and nurses were friendly and professional.
My subsequent OPD and X Ray appointments were all efficient, with little waiting and assistance available when necessary. I cannot speak too highly of
Grantham hospital.
"Most impressed"
