"Staff were very unhelpful"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Accident and emergency

Having arrived at a&e the staff were very unhelpful even tho my grandmother had been in pain for 13 hours, no pain killers were given until my mother and I had to ask for the second time, they also needed my Nan to do a wee so they could test it but would of been helpful if they could of helped my 85 year old nan not just let her to it, thank god she had us with her. Then having to ask for a different bed so my Nan could get into it, my mother and I had to get her into it with no help yet again from the staff, I understand it's a busy department but customer service should be a must, my Nan was in so much pain and having worked for the NHS as a sister in her working life I find this service disgusting and in her day this never would have happened. I would also like to point out how rude a staff member was to my mother when she took my nans sample to them. Also blood sample to be taken when we arrived but 2 hours later we had to ask!! Again disgusting.
