"Every single person was kind, caring and friendly"

I went into woodthorpe hospital today as an NHS patent for day surgery. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I can't say a bad word about the staff. Every single person was kind, caring and friendly. A care assistant brought me up to the ward, a nurse took me observations and the doctor and anesthetist and then I waited for 5 hours in a room that was lovely and relaxing. Then a porter who was a young man took me down to theatre. He was so reassuring and friendly and really put me at ease when I was nervous. I think his name was Alex? The anaesthetists who gave me the anaesthetic was great and even had me laughing whilst I was nervous. The nurses who cared for me in recovery and back on the ward couldn't do enough to ensure I was comfortable and my needs were met. If you have to go woodthorpe do not fear anything. It's the best hospital I've been too and I've stayed in a lot x
