"My care/treatment surgical wards"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Surgery (Wards 16-18)

(as the patient),

I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the staff in wards 16, 17, and 18 I had taken ill and had to stay in hospital for around 2 1/2 weeks During the acute stage of my illness I was in level 1 ward 18 the staff were fantastic too many to mention however, nothing was any trouble to them, they also looked after my family well A special thank you to Mr Anderson and the team. Then on to 16 and 17 who were also fantastic despite being short staffed. Mr Bryce, Sarah, Marie Claire and Lee-Ann carried out my ERCP and Sphincterotomy I have never looked back! Thank you once again to all staff for a fantastic service and spotless hospital keep up the good work

Dear mac16,

Many thanks for taking the time to post your comments. I am delighted to hear that both you and you family had such a positive experience whilst undergoing care within our surgical wards. I will share your comments with the staff in each of the wards and also with Mr Anderson and Mr Bryce. Receiving positive feedback always help to boost staff morale,

Again many thanks

Best Wishes
