"How to keep parents calm"

Well done to Northampton General Hospital, when I recently had to take my 5 year old son there to have an operation to have his squint corrected. They managed to keep me so calm and reassured that I am sure it rubbed off on my son so that he was happy as well. From Claire the play specialist (I didnt know they existed before this week!) to Nick the nurse who looked after my son and Mr Fearnley who performed the operation, a huge thank you from the whole family! My son was back home on the same day and is recovering very well indeed. I know these things are just routine for the people who work in the hospital but they made me feel very relaxed (as much as I could be) and provided excellent care to us all. Thanks again.
