I was referred to this hospital as an emergency by my optician. I have to say the department was extremely busy. However, although the waiting time was considerable I have to say the treatment I received could not have been better. I was seen assessed examined thoroughly and received preventative laser eye treatment to prevent loss of sight on the same day. I saw first hand how staff had hardly a minute to spare, the doctor who I saw was interrupted repeatedly by phone calls during my consultation, still I cannot complain about the care I received, but surely more staff are needed to relieve the pressure these dedicated people are under.
Only one negative I was charged £15 for 6 hours parking!!
