What I liked

My Mother had a stroke and spent 5 weeks in the stroke ward and a final week in a single room in G wing. She was immobile and for most of the time unaware and yet she was treated with the utmost respect by everyone who dealt with her. My brother and I were included in all decisions regarding her care until her death. The Bereavement service was also excellent.

Anything else?

She would normally have gone to Epsom Hospital but as she was visiting me when she had the stroke she came to QA. From past experiences of Epsom the care at QA was outstanding. This was the main reason we selected the Rocky Appeal for donations in her memory
