"Ophthalmic department"

I was seen twice this week in the eye department, once in Cheltenhsm on Monday and today i( Thurs) in Gloucester.

The reason I had to attend Glos was because there was no- one to operate the scan machine in Cheltenham. . This unfortunately caused more apprehension because I had to wait a longer. Both times I saw the same lovely caring health care assistant, who was very understanding and gave so much reassurance. They stood out because they took time to listen to my fears. I was very worried and upset. I was so relieved to see them in both departments. The health care assistant remembered my history and offered immediate support. The Consultants, and eye photographer were also very kind and professional.
