I visited the A&E department with my 4 year old daughter at about 1900. The care she received was great. We were booked in by a lovely friendly receptionist. We were triaged by a fantastic nurse who asked my daughter how her pain score was and got her pain relief (fantastic emphasis in the department on pain management) the nurse reviewed that my daughter would need to see a Doctor so we were sat out in the reception area. Despite being busy all the nurses kept us informed about when we would be seen, the area is bright and friendly and my daughter especially liked the coloured chairs. We were seen and treated by a Doctor who was friendly and polite despite being very busy made us feel that we were very important. I was very impressed with the care given and would be more than happy to refer any friend or family to this service.
