"Blood tests"

I had to have a blood test at my GP, however, there was not a slot available for bloods to be taken for one week! I therefore had to attend my local hospitals outpatients department to have blood done! Fortunately, I am reasonably fit well and mobile, these bloods were important and I wonder how they would have been obtained if I was not able to attend out-patients haematology. I suggest they employ further HCA at my GP surgery or other alternative remedies for patients requiring bloods.
