"My son was well looked after"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital / Accident and emergency

My son was attacked in the town centre and was of course in shock as well as needing to be sorted out regarding his injuries.

The Doctor and the staff who attended to him were kind, caring and sorted him out an X-ray and filled out cards to ensure that he would be seen as soon as possible at Telford A and E.

Thank you very much - I was, of course, very upset as it was my son and I felt that he was in safe hands.

I am sorry to hear that your son was attacked and needed to attend hospital following this. I am pleased to note, however, that the service your son received was as you would have expected from us.

I have passed your comments to the A&E ward manager at the Royal Shrewsbury as well as the Clinical Director for the Emergency Department who I will ask to pass on to the staff in the Emergency Department.

In the meantime, please accept my thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback and I hope that your son is now fully recovered from his experience.
