"Back to school disco at hucknall young people centre"

About: Butler's Hill & Broomhill Children's Centre

(as the patient),

We have attended disco events before organised by the children's centre team and it's a firm favourite! Lots of fun activities and food to accompany the dancing. Hot dogs and mushy peas are a great idea. A lovely end and send off before school starts, thank you: )

We have also very much enjoyed the themed fun days especially the donkeys and fairground fun including bouncy castles-wow!

My daughter was inspired by the forest school and we hope that it is repeated next year. It is always fun to enjoy nature at its simplest ie crunching through twigs!

I really appreciate your comments as it is great to hear that children and parents have enjoyed what we have provided. We consult with parents and children before the summer to ensure that their ideas are part of our planning. Forest Schools activites are going to be delivered at the centre and in other outdoor areas throughout the next term and so please ring the centre for further information. Thank you for attending the event and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Thank you for your response; it is a pleasure to provide positive feedback to the sure start team in Hucknall. I am pleased that forest schools activities are included in your forthcoming schedule. Sadly for us we cannot attend since my daughter starts school in September! However, given that we have attended Free Rangers, Messy play and other groups and school holiday events during her preschool years, I am confident that she has received an excellent preparation for school life. Sincere thanks to every member of your staff and volunteers who have contributed to making many fond childhood memories to treasure. We look forward to seeing you again during the school holidays!

Thank you again for taking the time to respond to my comment. I am so pleased that your daughter has been able to attend lots of groups at the centre in preparation for school. Its our main aim to ensure that we are providing children with the skills and experiences to make their transition into school smooth. I look forward to seeing you both in the October half term. I hope your daughter enjoys her first day at school.
