My father is 74yrs old and has never been in hospital before. He fell and was I crying out in pain but had to wait 1hr 20mins for the ambulance just to arrive !!
Over the next 24hrs he had tests,x rays and waited all day to see the doctor who would decide on the next stage of his treatment. We fully understand that doctors are busy so this wasn't a problem. Late night though my mum decided to finally go home after being in the hospital for the last 24hrs. What has upset me is that the doctor then got to my dad and at 9pm at night decided to discharge him.
Because mum doesn't drive she asked if he could stay till morning when my husband could go with her and help but instead the hospital made the disgusting decision to send my dad dosed up with morphine in a CAB back home!
So disappointed with this hospital
