"no opthalmology dept listed"

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

recently attended the eye clinic at QE2 , very happy with service, however having had eye drops administered and sitting waiting for my consultation I realized all the printed signs in the dept were in regular font with no allowance made for the majority of patients with visual impairment , not something you might realize as a member of staff with 20/20 vision!

We've only recently taken over this service, which is why there is no specific mention of the services provided on NHS Choices (although this should be resolved very soon).

This is why our staff will be delighted to get your feedback - including the suggestion around printed signs!
