What I liked

It was clean and extremely efficient. I had an appointment letter within a week and an appointment in two from my doctor's referral.

What could be improved

I thought the staff could have been a bit friendlier and put me a bit more at ease.

Also I kept being asked the same questions even though I had already said I wasn't wearing anything containing metal.

Anything else?

No overall I was extremely pleased with the service and pleased to be seen so quickly and have answers to decide what course of action to take next!

As with all hospitals I hate having to pay for the car park - but this charge was not as bad as the charges in Watford hospital.

Thanks for your kind comments about your experience of the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, although we note your thoughts about your desire for our staff to put you more at ease - we'll feed that back to them.

As for all the checking about having metal in your clothing, we're sure that this was just about our staff making sure that you were safe, rather than being sorry afterwards!
