My daughter arrived by ambulance at Musgrove Park Hospital A/E at 10-30 pm, on the 22nd of August, my wife and I arrived at 10-45, it was quite busy so thought it may be a while being seen. We waited but no member of the medical staff came to see us, my daughter was is pain and thirsty as no member of staff came to see if anything was needed. Eventually the radiographer took her in for an x-ray, on her return she was very thirsty, we asked a hard working cleaning person if there was any possibility of her having a drink, this they got sorted where they brought her a glass of water. At 3-30 I thought someone should have seen her after 5 hours, I asked a Doctor what was happening, who said we were next to be seen, I am sure we were forgotten. Then a Doctor arrived and gave her much needed pain relief at last, they then checked her over then fitting a splint, it took a HCA to show my daughter how to use the crutches that the Doctor had issued. A Triage person in the next cubical only saw 3 patients, what is happening?
"A/E disgrace, 5 HOUR WAITE before she saw any..."
