"gallbladder removal"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I entered Medway in December 2015. with stomach pains. Was my gallbladder. The care was good though I wasn't actually told I was discharged until a nurse gave me pills and said - stay for your lunch. The ward packed with old women and no-where to go.

When I got home I had to 'start again' by seeing my GP to arrange my gall bladder removal. I waited 9 months to the day.

So I've had it removed.

The nursing was good and caring & efficient., it was very clean everywhere,

But I stayed in the recovery room as there were no beds. It seems Medway are getting back on top of things, I never felt nervous of being in there. I know people who wont step inside the doors.

There's a way to go for them.

I think they'll get to the top.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are working hard to improve care for our patients and have made great progress, but know we still have some way to go.
