"Appalling care."

I was coming here on weekly visits as I was pregnant with twins they both had absent EDF flow and iugr. At 30 weeks I was admitted due to pre eclampsia I stayed for a week I was passed on from ward to ward and delivery when my blood pressure spiked my consultant told me they would need to deliver the twins due to all the complications. After been showed around neo natal and the Dr's explaining what would happen when they arrived I was happy that this long journey was about to end. The next day my blood pressure again was high again they transfered me to delivery and gave me medication to control. Then I was told the neo natal was shut to me as they didn't have the cot space for my twins even though the previous day I was shown nicu and they only had 1 baby in there with 3 spare cots. I was told I need transfered to another unit. They tried all the hospitals in UK with no luck. Another day passed again my blood pressure was out of control so again I spent a night on delivery with all the Dr's saying I couldn't deliver here at this point I was scared and angry that afternoon I was told Id have to goto Somerset to deliver as this was the only unit available to take care of us. The next morning I was on the m5 by myself as was told my partner couldn't come they knew we didn't drive. I arrived at Somerset and that evening I had a c-section and the twins was delivered. I was told by manor once the twins was stable enough I would have a transfer back. Somerset phoned manor everyday for 11 days and still they wouldn't have us back on day 11 the only hospital close was worcester so were now on day 15 still miles away from home it takes 3 trains and 2 buses to see my boys. I have been split up with my family isolated my partner missed the birth and now we're struggling financially seeing the twins. Manor lied to us I am absolutely disgusted with our treatment they new twins come as high risk and they new weeks b4 I was having complications and still they kept me under there care knowing they couldn't take care of the twins if they was premature. I understand neo natal units are under pressure but it must be there upmost priority in keeping families together. I am so down that I don't get to see my twin boys everyday all because manor won't take us back. NHS have completely failed my family when we needed them the most I no longer trust this service and all this trauma has put me off having anot her child for life.
