"Early pregnancy unit"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

I waited for 5 hours to be seen for cramping and bleeding in my 5th week of pregnancy. After 5 hours no one could give me some clarity about how much longer I would need to continue waiting. I ended up giving up as I felt the stress of sitting in an uncomfortable waiting room for that long would probably make things even worse.

I am sorry to read your comment regarding a visit to our Early Pregnancy Unit. I am disappointed that you were not kept updated with regards to waiting times at what must have been a stressful time for you. Please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison team who will be able to look into these concerns further for you. PALS can be contacted on 01708 435 454 or by email, PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk.

Yours Sincerely
