"Room for improvement"

About: Bmi - The London Independent Hospital

I attended the BMI hospital as a day patient in mid August to have some lesions / cysts removed. The surgeon, nurses and staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. However, the time-keeping was poor. My admission time was 4:30 and without any explanation I was made to wait until around 8:30 for the operation. No apology was offered. As a private patient I would have expected a better service and found the episode very frustrating and frankly disrespectful. I've had several operations on the NHS and never experienced anything like this.
