As stated, three days wasted in Derriford awaiting angiogram, following a bleed in my brain on July 11th and referral from Torbay hospital. Sent home today without attention due to system not being fit for purpose. Every time an emergency came in, have been put to back of queue on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and now sent home. See no prospect of this so called centre of excellence being able to cope. There will always be emergencies but obviously no system exists for dealing with otherwise still serious conditions. I have no alternative but to seek assistance from my MP in order to rectify an obviously broken system. Have no complaints with any of the many staff who's time and efforts have also been wasted. This has been the worst hospital experience of my 71 years which has included periods in the former Central Middlesex, Torbay, Royal Berkshire, Hull and Derriford hospitals. I hope never to have to visit this place again. Dennis Dyer
