What I liked

The nurses were very caring, and I was impressed with how clean it all was. Much better than I have seen previously.

What could be improved

After being kept in over night, and not told why (I had been told I would be going home on the same day as my surgery) I felt I wasn't given enough information. I was shocked to find many more incisions in my leg for the varicose vein surgery than I had expected, and had to go back up to the hospital the evening that I was discharged, as I no support stockings. I then also got an infection.

Anything else?

The nurses took good care of me whilst I was in there, and I can't complain of that. I was nervous, and they took time to re assure me. I just feel the surgeon could have given more information after the surgery.
