"Commitment and care."

I went in to ward D for hip replacement on 18th August, I can only say the care and commitment of the staff was above and beyond anything I had expected. The consultant explained everything in detail about the operation, and visited twice post op, telling me I had a titanium hip that would look after me for the next twenty years, they were a wonderful surgeon. The nursing staff could not do enough for you in their care, and we wanted for nothing. The cleanliness was impressive, and they deserve a big pat on the back all of them. Even the hospital food was excellent, felt more like a four star hotel menu! I would not hesitate if ever the need arose to return to Barlborough for surgery in the future, my wife was most impressed by the time everyone took to explain things on my pre op visit, and really made you feel that you mattered.
