"A big thank you to all the staff"

About: Shepton Mallet Community Hospital

I can't thank the staff enough for the way I was cared for.when I arrived I was taken through by a member of staff who was amazing, explained every thing that was going to happen and actually came into theatre with me, they were talking to me to put me at ease until I went under. the anethatists assistant was also very calming. when I came round both of these people came to see me to wish me a speedy recovery which I felt was a very personal touch. i was only admitted for day surgery but my consultant requested that I stay in over nite as a precaution my consultant too was amazing I saw them several times during my stay. I was taken up to the ward quite quickly and there I was cared for by the healthcare assistant who couldn't do enough for me constantly checking I was ok and if I needed anything again they were amazing . I am now at home and received a phone call enquiring if everything was ok I must say that my whole experience at your hospital was made so much easier by your caring and dedicated staff .i would be grateful if you could express my gratitude to the people as I know people are quick enough to complain but not many people take the time to say thank you. Once again a big thank you to you all.
