"Birth of my grandson"

My daughter was initially induced and then I went onto the labour ward to join my daughter and her partner for the birth of their son. From the minute she was admitted to walking out with her baby we both commented on the fantastic care we had all received. The maternity unit was 2nd to none and we also had a midwife with us for the birth who was amazing. Everyone we came in to contact with was lovely, professional as well as caring and dedicated to their role. We had a few problems during the birth and when things went wrong we felt we were in good hands and my daughter was seen many professionals in and out her room keeping an eye on her and the baby. The staff also looked after me and my daughters partner as they were aware of the stress we were under. The NHS is so often condemned for their service delivery that we wanted to write this review to show nurses at Hull Women and Children's Hospital are dedicated and care. Thank you to all concerned for the safe arrive of my beautiful grandson x
