"PALS service terrible - No reply for 15 days!"

About: South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust

I called the SWFT PALS service after being given wrong information by a service about when to call back for an appointment - which resulted in me not being able to get an appointment.

I called in desperation (tears actaully) to see if PALS could help me or point me in the right direction.

After a few hours I called back as I hadn't heard from them (I spoke to the same person on both occasions) and they said they were having trouble getting through to the service but would get someone to contact me. Last week I put a poor rating on this review site about the service and PALS and was told that SWFT does not operate the service so they had asked for NHS Choices to remove it.

Poor service is poor service SWFT.

Just because you do not offer the clinical service in question, this should not mean that SWFT PALS should just ignore me, surely!

Could they not have had the decency to call me back to let me know the service was offered by another Trust?

Instead they just closed the case and had NHS Choices move the poor rating to the other Trust.

Is this good service?

I think not SWFT!

If you ask for this review of SWFT PALS to be removed from NHS Choices and only five star ratings are allowed to remain, then that too says something about you SWFT.

I see you have just received 'requires improvement' from the CQC.

Well maybe they would be interested to hear my experience.
