After seeing the GP due to a small accident in May that resulted in a painful wrist and the GP telling me to take Ibuprofen and that it will be better after 6 to 8 weeks, I was still in pain after 8 weeks and went back to the GP who sent me for an X-Ray, they said I may have to wait a week for the result but I should get it straight away. The X-Ray will show any fractures and we can eliminate that to find out what's wrong.
When I went to the community hospital for the X-Ray, the receptionist was so rude - and said 'well, you can wait a week for the result as you have already waited 2 months'... like I had a choice to just go and say 'hey I like an X-Ray please' before then when the GP told me to wait up to 8 weeks to heal.
Anyway I have been back to the GP since and found out I have tendinitis and damaged ligament and I am now receiving private physio treatments. I didn't mind waiting for 1 week for results but it was the receptionist being rather rude with lack of customer service skill that I am annoyed about.
