"Visit to A & E Thursday 18 August - pm"

I would like to thank all staff in the department. My husband received superb care from the time I registered him at Reception until he was handed medication on leaving. The Receptionist was friendly and efficient. My husband was admitted with severe head pain and was treated promptly and with great care and understanding by all the nurses and the Doctor he saw was brilliant! He had to wait for his blood results to come back and this of course was necessary for the diagnosis but we were informed that it would take up to an hour. There was water available which helped to keep him hydrated. All this and staff were having to maintain a service with major refurbishment in progress. Please pass on my comments to staff.
