About: Darent Valley Hospital

I was sent to A & E by my doctor as I had been suffering chest pains.

I had been under a great deal of stress (mainly due to Darent Valley Hospital) and was feeling rather unwell.

They sent me immediately to hospital with a covering letter.

I went expecting a three to four hour wait but was astounded at how quickly I was seen.

I barely had a chance to sit down and my name was called by a Triage Nurse, who immediately sent me for an ECG.

Once that was done I was immediately sent to a short stay ward and had blood tests, a further ECG, a chest x-ray and was monitored closely.

I remained there for four hours while all these tests were done but was kept involved by a nurse and doctor who were both professional and helpful.

I have been quick to complain about treatment for my son and husband at this hospital so need to be as quick to praise.

The care I received was fantastic and a big thank you to everyone who dealt with me yesterday.
