I came into the Triage Unit at Pinderfields Hospital yesterday, i originally called Dewsbury as i was concerned about symptoms i was having and reduced movements of baby at 30+3 and was told a midwife on duty would call me back, after worrying and waiting for Dewsbury to contact me i called Pinderfields as i am classed as High Risk so will be having my baby there. The Midwife i spoke to on the phone reassured me that my symptoms could purely be down to a new medication i had started but asked me to go to Pinderfields to be monitored for reduced movements. I was assessed by a student midwife who i can not fault one bit, they explained everything to me and my partner before they did it, when i was left on the monitor it started beeping and the midwife came straight back and explained why it was doing that to put my mind at rest. I was told i needed to be seen by a doctor after and could be waiting an hour.. within 15 minutes i was being spoken to by lovely doctor. Couldn't fault anyone on that ward and feeling positive about the care i will receive when i go into Labor.
Thank you so much :) (Still waiting for my call back from Dewsbury hospital 26 hours later)
