About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

(as a relative),

What I liked We visited Outpatients with my elderly mother in law. The large open waiting area, the staff in outpatients were very helpful and friendly. The staff were very efficient arranging future appointments and hospital transport for my mother in law. The phlebotomy clinic was very clean and well organised, with a very pleasant waiting area. What could be improved? The hospital could do with better signage for new visitors and patients, as we ended up going in from the wrong end and it was a long trek that involved going outside to get to our destination. Anything else? It is clear that Doncaster hospital like so many others is an old hospital that has had many "improvements" and extensions over the years, leaving it disorganised and rambling.
