"General outpatients and surgical pre assessment..."

I visited the outpatients department on the 12th of August as a follow up appointment re a Ct Scan result. The staff there, including reception, the sister and the consultant were helpful, caring and professional. I was provided with understandable verbal and written information re a planned procedure.

I visited this department again on the 16th of August for pre assessment and again the experience was made as stress free as possible by the assessing nurse. I was a little bit nervous as the planned procedure is not something I am looking forward to.. However,

I came away feeling less apprehensive and with good information. As a retired nurse it is not easy being on the receiving end of care but I am very grateful for it.
