"lovely staff"

About: Chelsfield Park Hospital

I'm not a lover of staying in any hospital, probably made worse by the fact that I'm a specialist practioner and can be a real scary cat and very critical. From the moment you drive in, you are greeted with the view of a lovely building surrounded in beautifully quiet grounds. Through to reception you are welcomed by smart, friendly professional staff (apologies not too good with names) they always welcome you with a friendly smile which puts you at ease immediately. The wards have been newly decorated and are very clean, again welcomed by the nurse in charge of my care. The nurse caring for me could not have been nicer, a welcoming smile and calming manner which they maintained throughout the day and evening. A member of staff knew how nervous I was and that I didn't want to be there all weekend, rather that I wanted to be a day case. They wee firm ( I needed that) but helped to ensure I would be for enough to go home the same day. The surgeon, is probably one of the nicest surgeons I have met, especially when they allowed me to go home the same day. The surgeon's manner is second to none. The consultant's secretary is also a very caring secretary and gets back to you with answers to any of your queries either by phone or email. I guess most people would expect this for private treatment. However that is not always the case. I'm afraid I can not remember the bubbly anaesthetists name, such a lovely person and so reassuring.
