Last Wednesday I was admitted for what I hoped for (and turned out to be) was a final attempt at a test which had been attempted without anaesthetic several times over the last 2 years, but was always extremely painful.
All went very well, I even (a first for me) recovered well from the general anaesthetic.
I even got a snack box (to the envy of my fellow patients) as I had to wait for my friend to finish work before she could collect me.
Post anaesthetic information was good, and I now have a answer as to the pain I had previously experienced.
Awaiting results, and the promise of another biopsy to confirm diagnosis.
