"Great service"

Hooray for the NHS. Last night (13/08/16), my cystitis showed no sign of responding to the normal over the counter remedies. A phone call to 111, swiftly followed by a telephone consultation with a doctor led to an appointment with the emergency GP. An UTI was diagnosed and antibiotics prescribed. A quick trip to the midnight pharmacy and I had the pills in my hand. All within 2 hours - impressive work NHS!

Throughout, all the health professionals were friendly, helpful and reassuring.

Please pass on my thanks to all concerned, it was a great team effort, seamlessly executed. The 111 service, the emergency GP service at Kent and Canterbury hospital and the pharmacist at Boots, Wincheap were all fabulous.
