"Using sure start provision in Ashfield"

About: Kirkby East Children's Centre

(as the patient),

I have used a range of Surestart provision in the Ashfield area, having 2 children aged 4 and 9 months.

I have found all services excellent and have taken advantage of breast feeding support, messy play, toddlerobics, crafty kids, the sensory rooms and more.

The sessions are all excellent and I have found the staff both supportive and professional at all times.

I would say that the only thing I thought could have been improved was the what's on guides. If there was a website listing all sessions, or a guide with everything on rather than just each area, that would be great.

We also found wriggle jiggle brilliant for both ages of children and was sad to hear it has been cancelled.

Thank you for you feedback Littlereynolds82.

It has been lovely to read that you and your children have enjoyed some of the many activities that the Children Centres offer around Ashfield.

Sadly services and groups are subject to change due to service delivery and providing a needs led service.

From speaking to many parents over the summer the What's on Guide has already been raised as an issue to me so I am pleased to state that we are meeting together in the autumn to look at how we can make this better.
