I have a heart condition which means my heart can go into Atrial Fibrillation and I require regular cardio versions. I have done so for the last six years whilst my cardiologist tries to sort the problem with various operations and medications. I am a repeat offender at A&E and with the cardio respiratory team, every time I visit (which is a lot) I am always blown away by how fantastic the staff are. They treat me as an individual and listen to me, working together to treat the AF with as little discomfort to me as possible. Every doctor and every nurse treats me as an equal human being and treat each other as team mates. The A&E staff work so well with the Cardio respiratory team which makes a huge impact on the quality of care we receive. Not only does the treatment I receive each time I attend have a positive impact on my wellbeing but the ongoing care and support from your cardio respiratory team has a positive and reassuring impact on my daily life, just knowing they are there at the end of the phone is a massive help. I have the upmost respect and gratitude for all of your staff and feel truly lucky to have an amazing facility and team on my door step.
