My treatment in Orthopaedic for LisFranc injury was efficient and well explained to me.
I was kept in by Fracture Clinic, stayed in Beech Ward for 5 days until the surgeon did an operation involving repairing bones in my foot and inserting metal plate and screws.
After my discharge next day, I was reviewed in Fracture Clinic 3 times and will see them in 3 months to check all is going well.
The surgeon and their team were caring and gave good information.
Ward staff worked extremely hard, many of their inpatients were elderly, had been treated but couldn't go home, or had dementia, but nurses were always helpful and cheerful.
