"Extremely impressed"

We visited Minor Injuries today and were so impressed with the staff and the way we were treated. I have a heart condition which means my heart can go into Atrial Fibrillation and requires regular cardio versions. Whilst staying the weekend in Exmouth we visited the minor injuries unit to see if I could get an ECG and confirm the AF before travelling home to my local hospital where I could be treated quickly by staff who were familiar with my case. The staff in Exmouth were compassionate and understanding, whilst explaining that they have a duty of care to their patients to make sure that the correct treatment is given. I felt that they treated me as an individual and really listened to me, treating me with respect and dignity. A fantastic service, with extremely helpful and caring staff, a credit to the NHS.
