"Outpatient appt with Consultant"

About: University Hospital Aintree

I attended an outpatient appt regarding a follow up for Sleep Apnea.

The admin and nursing staff were very nice.

However, on meeting the Consultant, I was stunned how rude they were.

They weren't willing to listen to anything I asked or said.

I have continued to have some problems with sleep even though I use the equipment nightly.

I tried to explain the problems I have.

They blamed my GP, Rheumatology, the referring Consultant at Lpool Heart and Chest, my medication and me for the problems I have.

It's not a case of blaming people it's about trying to find a solution.

I have spoken to my GP and the admin staff highlighting that I would not wish to see them again as they clearly not suited to front line work.

I have never been spoken to in that way before by a NHS worker.
