"Breast Unit"

About: Wycombe Hospital

Following a routine breast scan at the Mobile Unit in Amersham I was recalled to the Breast Unit at Wycombe General for further screening. This was my first visit to this hospital, having recently moved to the area. I cannot praise the unit highly enough. From beginning to end this experience was handled with sensitivity and professionalism. It is a bright, clean and welcoming department and, despite my obvious anxiety I was treated with enormous respect. The team were amazing and could not have treated me in a better manner. Thank you so much to all the team. Keep up the amazing great work that you do. (I did not need further treatment which was a huge relief).

Dear Shirley Clarke

I am very pleased to hear that you had a positive experience of our services at what would have been a worrying time for you.

We strive to put our patients first and to ensure they are offered high quality care. It is therefore always rewarding to receive such feedback and to hear of how well staff across our services have worked together to ensure our patients are treated with compassion, dignity and respect. I will make sure that your lovely words of praise are passed on to the breast care team for recognition of their great work.
