I cannot thank the staff enough for their dedication and treatment . I was always made to feel that my care was important and explanations were comprehensive with plenty of time for asking questions. From GP referral through to hysterectomy, I was treated with the utmost respect and gentle concern and even though hundreds of patients go through the experience every year I was treated as though my case was special. My consultant, the clinic nurses, the ward nurses, healthcare assistants and ward cleaners were all wonderful. After my surgery, I woke up in a lovely cocoon of care and i can honestly say that I had no pain which I put down to the skill of the surgeon. I'm only sorry that I am not allowed to say their name.
My diagnosis was grade 3 cancer and this was confirmed after the surgery. It was only a few weeks( I can't remember exactly) between referral and surgery and the process was smooth and I was given a lot of information relating to the tests, surgery and after -care. i went on to have radiotherapy treatment which I shall review on the relevant site.
"Excellent treatment and a wonderful team."
