My son was born in early June of this year and I couldn't have wanted more from the staff at this hospital. Even up to the day all my appointments had gone well and I rarely waited more than 15 mins to be seen. I had a long a painful labour that last over 16 hours, my baby was lying back to back and I found dealing with the pain unbearable. The staff were calm, lovely and reassuring when my plan for a natural water birth went straight out of the window. I was also lucky enough to have the same midwife the whole way through my delivery at Homerton (I salute you). My baby was eventually born via an emergency caesarean and the information and reassurance I was given was second to none (my midwife even held my hand whilst I was being administered the anaesthetic).
My baby was delivered healthy and well and I recovered in a mere 3 weeks.
I stayed in for just over 24 hours and the staff through the night were amazing. Such a positive experience. Thank you x
