Sent away from here with positive thyroid antibodies & a long duration of symptoms/signs without any treatment. I guess this is due to the TSH serum level having a range of up to approx. 5 mu/L yet you don't receive treatment in the UK until it's over 10 which must be addressed by Nice. However, it would be good if there was some flexibility on this on a case by case basis.
