I gave birth to my son in July 2016. I had emergency caesarean everything went well however the student midwife were horrible to me.
One of them was doing my blood pressure and she kept pumping. I told her to stop as my hand went really puffy. She goes apparently I'm tense which wasn't true. I was in pain as it is, so once she let it go the pressure went. Then she did my pulse. She kept staring at me whilst checking my pulse which I found really rude.
My husband heard the student midwife and another student midwife speaking about us saying how we keep ringing the bell when the bell is for ringing and asking for help. The student midwife don't know what I went through and yet they don't seem to care about other people's pain I find it really heartless of them.
I personally think student midwife should be more trained when dealing with newly vulnerable mothers as we just went through a lot.
