"Maternity services"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

I gave birth at RPH following a long 2 day labour after induction. I cannot fault the care I received. The midwives I had (2 qualified and 1 student) were extremely attentive and could not do enough to help me. I feel that they went out of their way to make me as comfortable and calm as possible. Everything about my care was discussed with me in great detail and I was supported in all of my decisions regarding pain relief options. I feel I should point out that The midwife who cared for me during the day I delivered went above and beyond their duties and showed real passion and commitment to their job by staying behind after their shift had ended to see the labour through until I delivered my son safely at 21.52 3/8/16. I cannot thank these midwives enough for providing myself, my partner and my mum (who were my birth partners) with such magical memories. All 3 of us were so well looked after and supported and we will forever be grateful to you! A credit to the profession for sure.
